Terms of Service
Last updated: August 4, 2026
Breakwatch is a product operated by Yield Sniper, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Throughout these terms, "Breakwatch," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Yield Sniper, Inc.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Breakwatch, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Breakwatch monitors third-party API changelogs, documentation, and OpenAPI specifications. When we detect changes that may affect your codebase, we send you alerts via email and/or Slack.
Breakwatch accesses your GitHub repositories in read-only mode. We never modify your repositories, branches, or code. If we introduce an automated fix-PR feature in the future, it will be a distinct, explicitly opt-in capability that requires separate authorization from you.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Breakwatch. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@breakwatch.ai.
4. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Cancellation
Breakwatch offers Free, Indie, and Team plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings or the Stripe customer portal.
- Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required for the Free plan.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until then.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, your plan remains active until the period ends.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes do not apply to your current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Breakwatch service.
- Abuse, overload, or interfere with our scanning infrastructure or APIs.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to Breakwatch without our written authorization.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
6. Intellectual Property
Your code is yours. You retain all rights to your source code, repositories, and any data you provide to Breakwatch. We claim no ownership over your code or data.
Breakwatch retains all rights to its software, brand, and the aggregated, non-identifying vendor changelog data displayed on the public /radar pages.
7. Disclaimers
Breakwatch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do our best to deliver accurate and timely alerts, but we cannot guarantee that every API change will be detected or that alerts will prevent production incidents.
Breakwatch alerts are an informational aid, not a substitute for your own testing, QA, or engineering judgment. Nothing in this service constitutes financial, legal, or professional advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yield Sniper, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the cause of action.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can cancel your account from your settings page or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, your data (dependency maps, code excerpts, alerts) will be deleted within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of Breakwatch after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
